. We take pride in preparing all dishes fresh, maintaining high standards of quality and service. We are now looking for an
experienced and dedicated Outlet Chef
to lead one of our outlet kitchens and support our Central Kitchen operations.
Role Overview
As an Outlet Chef, you will be responsible for
overseeing all kitchen operations
, ensuring excellent food quality, consistency, and smooth daily service. You will manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff, uphold hygiene and safety standards, and ensure the kitchen runs efficiently and profitably.
This is a
hands-on leadership role
-- you will be expected to cook during service, complete management paperwork, lead training, and maintain strict operational standards. You will also work closely with the Central Kitchen team to coordinate production when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day kitchen operations to deliver consistent, high-quality food
Cook, supervise, and monitor all food preparation and service
Train, manage, and motivate kitchen staff to perform at high standards
Maintain food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety according to SOPs
Manage stock control, ordering, inventory, and cost efficiency
Reduce waste and manage kitchen costs effectively
Complete management duties and paperwork accurately and on time
Assist with Central Kitchen production when required
Develop and train junior chefs for future growth within the company
Work closely with management to achieve KPIs and continuous improvement
Applicant Requirements
Minimum
2 years of kitchen leadership experience
(preferably in restaurants or hotels)
Strong cooking skills in Western and seafood cuisine
Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate kitchen teams
Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills
Strong understanding of food hygiene, kitchen management, and SOP implementation
Able to handle ordering, stock control, and cost management
Hands-on approach -- leads by example and maintains high performance standards
Positive attitude, disciplined, and solution-oriented under pressure
Proficient in English and Bahasa Melayu
Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts (preferred but not mandatory)
Competent in basic MS Office / Google Workspace
Willing to work
6 days per week
, including weekends and public holidays
Local Malaysians only
Able to start immediately
