Job Description

Job Summary The Liaison Officer works with patients and their families to address concerns or special needs that may arise during their course of treatment within the hospital setting. She/He will work directly with various members of healthcare team, hospital departments and administration to solve problems that patients and families may have with the goal of facilitating a positive patient experience during their time in the hospital. Job Responsibilities

• Respond to patient inquiries via messaging apps / social platforms
• Assist with coordination and administrative duties associated with the clinical services/programmes.
• Assist patients with problems associated with hospital registration and admission.
• Ensure that all concerns on appointments / follow-ups are directed to the relevants personnel within the hospital in a timely manner.
• Coordinate appointment booking for the clients.
• Coordinate external patient referrals with the relevant personnel/departments.
• Liaise with patients and family members and educate on medical follow up appointments.
• Schedule patients\xe2\x80\x99 future appointments into the clinical software program.
• Suggest improvements to present hospital systems in order to make the system more workable between the external referrals and the hospital to improve the patient journey.

Requirements

• Customer service experience required.
• Good communication and interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Proficient in spoken English / Malay languages, preferably able to communicate in Mandarin.
• Service-oriented and passionate to work in the healthcare industry.
• Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma preferable in Health Administration or public health.
