Our Role

Our Payroll Officer reports to the Payroll Specialist for Asia Pacific spanning Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Philippines is responsible for supporting our globally steered and locally executed payroll activities. Based in our Petaling jaya office in Mutiara Damansara. 6 months fixed term contract with a potential to be extended.

Reporting to our APAC Payroll Lead you will:

• Support Graymont payroll function across Asia Pacific region
• Back up pay processing in Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and Philippines including data entry/maintenance, pay processing and etc.
• Support special payroll projects in APAC and North America including process improvement initiatives, process documentation and etc.
• Support other key stakeholders in HR group in the region
• Assist in payroll and timesheet audit activities, tax calculations and filing activities as per country/state tax regulations.
• Respond to payroll queries from employees in a timely manner
• Other ad hoc tasks assigned by the team

The successful candidate has qualification in Business Administration, Human Resource or other related qualification. Experience in end to end payroll support, payroll system (ADP is highly desirable), knowledge of country / state tax and governmental contributions compliances. Proficiency in Microsoft Applications such as Word and Excel are essential for this role.
