Position overview

Allnex is inviting you to join our Planning team in Seremban, Malaysia as a Production & Material Planner (or Planning Lead, depending on experience) to coordinate and drive S&OP, sales & operations planning, and process for the Asia Pacific region in collaboration with the regional BU director(s), manufacturing organization, and supply chain taking into account the inventory strategy, service levels, capacity utilization, and global supply plans.

Responsibilities
-Lead planning team to achieve the target set by management (for Planning Lead role).
-Maintain and review a range of planning performance measures to drive continuous improvement.
-Lead and coordinate the S&OP process for the region with an action list.
-Manage the capacity planning for all plants.
-Drive long-term capacity and production plans in the region.
-Organize and lead the quarterly regional SMOG review meeting with business, manufacturing, quality, and finance with the outcome of having a SMOG analysis and action tracking.
-Improve service to our customers by leading cross-functional root cause analysis and implementation.
-Work with Global and X-function teams in executing business strategy.
-Implement global planning improvement action, and ensure standard process setting aligns with Global planning teams.
-Ensure completion of all planning and scheduling transactional processes from requirements through the ERP system that the product is available to customer\xe2\x80\x99s request.
-Deliver working capital targets, in line with defined inventory model and service level.
-Balance the aggregate demand and supply to determine a course of action that meets production and delivery requirements.
-Generate and maintain detailed production plans for locally and remotely manufactured items consistent with meeting re-supply and customer order dates, the S&OP plan, demonstrated capability and agreed stocking policies whilst optimizing production output and cost.
-Schedule and coordinate supplementary out-sourcing of resale material to cover shortfalls in local manufacturing capability in line with S&OP guidelines.
-Effectively manage working capital and resources to ensure the correct inventory and manufacturing costs and maximize customer service level.
-Effectively manage planning requirements through control and execution of finished goods requirements, facility planning & utilization.
-Responsible for SMOG reduction and execution plans with the cross-functional team.
-Comply with all Company rules and regulations and corporate guidelines on safety and business practices.
-Understand operations best practice compliance issues and their impact on operating effectiveness.

Required skills and experience
-At least 2 years\' experience in production and/or material planning.
-Planning Lead will require at least 5 years of similar experience and experience leading a small team of planners.
-Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
-Experience and a good understanding of MRP (Manufacturing resource planning) and order management processes.
-Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems (familiar with SAP system will be advantageous).
-Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent communication abilities.
-Demonstrates a learning approach towards continuous improvement.

Qualifications
-Bachelor\'s Degree in the related field.
