Once the commercial operation commences by the end of 2024, the Kulim production site will focus on ABF substrate solutions for the semicon industry. Currently, we are seeking an experienced candidate to fill this newly created position: Process Engineer Test (Operation) Your Responsibilities Authority to give instructions and guidance to technical subordinates. Project management. Plan out process and provide support to the other departments involved. Support tool Installation and Qualification as well as Stepwise Qualification of Tools and ancillary equipment. Attend Meetings, Workshops and Conference Calls with External Customers and Suppliers as well as internal customers. Perform Machines, Lots and Process blocking. Coordinate work with other departments related to machine supplier or Material supplier. Involved in Cost reduction and Cost cutting activities. Development of Qualification plans, DoE plans and procedures and Evaluation procedures. Excursion management and follow up. Follow up in the system with Basic findings (BF\'s) & Internal Deviations (ID\'s). This is to ensure it is close on time and all required corrective actions are done and evaluated. Maintain Yield baseline and improve Yield Performance, Yield monitoring and Low Yield Analyses. Limit the use of Equipment. (e.g. conditional release or blocking of Equipment). Design training documents for Operator. Management of Process relevant QMS Documents like Process instruction, Organized Reaction Plan and Checklists. ORP Execution for blocked Process. Parameter definition for Machines and Processes. Perform internal role-specific Line Audits. Preparation for Hook Up, Bring in, and Installation of new equipment. Recipe development, recipe maintenance and recipe management within the department. Releasing of blocked Processes (Input Parameter, PCS). Releasing of Machines with focus on process excursion RC and recovery, validate the completion of supplier modification/engineering fixing. Releasing of Engineering Lots, DoE Lots and Special lots like skewed IWV Lots and Release of Standard Production lots. Report line status, work status and incidents, as well as problems and highlights to Superiors in a timely and accurate fashion. Scrap execution for Assembly lots and DoE lots. Supplier training for Onsite work. Source inspection, Burn In, Internal Qualification, Customer Qualification and Stepwise Qualification of Machines, including preparation of all related Documents. Write and maintain Fingerprint Document for Equipment. Work / Participate on Projects (Cost cutting, Green Belt, Yield improvement, Taskforces and others as well). Write Tool Specification for new Equipment. Write Material Specification for new Material and maintain Specification for existing material. Your Profile Bachelor\'s Degree of Engineering or Equivalent. 2-7 years working experience in Process Engineering with IC-Substrate, HDI-PCB, IC-Packaging, semiconductor or related industry. Experience in either one of these areas: Tray to tray transfer and Vacuum packing, pick & place machine, Laser Marking, Laser Equipment, Final Visual Inspection (FVI), Final Inspection, Final Visual, Sawing/ Dicing, Wafer saw, package saw and backend dicing. Knowledge of quality tools like SPC, MSA, DOE, FMEA, CP and JMP. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Good analytical skills with attention to details. Good stress management skills. Knowledge of project management, data evaluation and design of experiments. Good team working spirit and leadership skills. Good communication and negotiation skills. Experience in working with intercultural teams preferred. Willingness to travel and stay abroad for a certain time in one or our locations. Open minded approach.
