Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, continuous improvement and roll-out of the Current Accounts processes in the global finance community
• Ensure excellent quality of the Current Accounts data stock as the basis for fiscal management reporting and for automated forecasting processes for operational and strategic company management
• Deployment of company-wide uniform accounting and disclosure processes in line with IFRS for the Current Accounts process in the region (e.g. machine learning tools)
• Provide project expert support in corporate projects with a special level of significance and complexity
• Analyze of relevant KPI's to steer and optimize the Current Accounts process on regional scale across various stakeholder (Shared Service Center, Global Process Owner, Business, etc.)
• Regional support in operational- and project-business for Current Accounts departments in Evonik's Shared Service Centers and Local Financial Services

Key tasks included

• Work in design of automated, standardized global processes for complex accounting subjects
• Be an owner of improvement initiatives and partner with other process experts to continuously develop and implement best practice processes at regional level
• Deliver first level functional CoE expert support for regional questions regarding the SAP FI-MM and other relevant software tools with focus in Accounts Payable - Current Accounts.
• Act as liaison of the Center of Excellence into the region APAC. Be a deputy for other CoE colleagues as needed.
• Perform intentional monitoring of relevant KPI's for all Current Accounts sub-processes within Global Financial Services as part of improvement initiatives and strategic F-AT goals
• Lead CoE expert support in corporate projects with a special level of significance and complexity

Key behaviors and skills present on this individual

• University Degree or equivalent experience in finance, economics or related fields
• 3+ years of experience on the relevant field of expertise with ability to learn fast
• Strong SAP functional knowledge on the relevant areas of expertise
• Leverages latest IT technologies and seeks awareness (Teams, One note, PAF Now, Fiori Apps, etc)
• Open to ideas and promotes collaborative environment
• Target oriented, proactive and well organized
• Good communications skills across different hierarchical levels
• Bilingual - Full command of English, as a second language, written and spoken
