Job Description

As a RM Procurement Operations Manager, you will manage Raw Material Operations activities cross countries and plants in Asia Pacific by collaborating Raw Material Sourcing team through supplier management. You will be part of SEA Leadership team, reporting to Senior Procurement Operations Manager, APAC. You will be working onsite at Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Major Responsibilities

• Align SEA RM sourcing strategy with RM sourcing team and partners, and lead the team to achieve the strategy implementation.
• Provide updates to supply chain/SBUs on latest RM forecast and keep sourcing team updated for volume allocation and price negotiation. Communicate respective category on potential shortages/ allocation to SC and support on RM shortage issue against SC request.
• Responsible for tail spend management such as establishing strategy for tail spend, manage pricing and contract negotiation for total ownership cost reduction.
• Develop better sourcing approaches using Cost Value analytics to determine scenarios, benefits, risks and change management impact of each of those options
• Participate in New Product Development including RM sample request handling (SHP) and RM sourcing for localization project / new business
• Manage procurement activities of RM supplier performance, RM vendor new setup and maintenance, approve PO, supplier payment and related queries, RM claims discussion, RM resale activities within PPG and local tax and duty exemption process.
• Main Procurement ISO country representative to handle ISO audit matters

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s Degree or above in chemical or engineering.
• 8+ years relevant to purchasing, sourcing, supply chain or coating technical with 3+ years above in people leader role
• Experience supporting team engagement virtually, and stakeholder management (influence, negotiation and conflicts resolutions in procurement)
