Job Description
Our client is a global Semiconductor company in Penang. Due to rapid expansion, they are currently seeking a Product Design Engineering Manager.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team in product sustaining and derivative development for RF generators, RF matches, and DC power supplies.
- Oversee product testing, validation, and manufacturing readiness activities.
- Solve complex engineering challenges, enhance product performance, and manage a diverse portfolio.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams for design reviews, issue resolution, and new product/platform launches.
- Communicate goals, progress, and results to leadership and external stakeholders.
- Foster a positive team environment, providing coaching and mentorship.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Experience:
- 7-10 years in product engineering, preferably in RF systems or analog circuitry.
- Proven track record in sustaining engineering, rapid prototyping, and managing engineering teams.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, MS Project, and lab equipment (oscilloscopes, analysers).
- Knowledge of DFx, ECO processes, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Education: Bachelors in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
