Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Product Development Manager/Lead to lead our product development initiatives, focusing on sourcing and enhancing electrical home appliances such as vacuum cleaners for the Malaysian market. This role involves a blend of technical expertise, market insight, and project management skills, with a strong focus on adapting products to meet local consumer preferences. Responsibilities: 1. Product Sourcing and Supplier Management: Actively identify and evaluate potential products, focusing on electrical home appliances. Occasionally visit manufacturing sites (as needed) to assess production capabilities and quality control processes. 2. Project Management: Develop project plans, set timelines, and manage resources to ensure timely execution of product development initiatives. Monitor project progress, identify and resolve potential bottlenecks, and communicate updates to stakeholders. Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and manufacturing, to align efforts and achieve project objectives. 3. Product Documentation and Specifications: Develop and maintain detailed product documentation, including specifications, technical drawings, and user manuals. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date product documentation. Work closely with the marketing team to communicate product specifications and features effectively to customers.
