Job Description

Job Summary:

The Proposal Engineer is responsible for supporting the sales and engineering teams by preparing detailed technical and commercial proposals tailored to client requirements. The role involves engaging with customers to understand their project needs, coordinating internal resources, preparing accurate cost estimations, and ensuring compliance with quality and timeline expectations. The Proposal Engineer plays a key role in both pre-sales activities and the transition of awarded projects to execution teams.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Customer Enquiry Handling

Interpret client RFPs, RFQs, and tender specifications. Plan and manage proposal timelines and requirements. Prepare technical documents like method statements and compliance tables.

2. Proposal Development

Define objectives and key deliverables for proposals. Gather technical and commercial input from internal teams. Prepare RFQs for suppliers and subcontractors.

3. Tender Preparation

Compile full proposal packages with pricing and terms. Support Sales during the bidding process. Join discussions on pricing strategy and ensure timely submissions.

4. Process & Documentation

Monitor proposal progress and maintain accurate records. Update managers on bid status and assist with handovers. Follow company quality policies and support client meetings. Participate in ISO audits and ensure documentation compliance.

5. Trading Support

Handle purchase requests and coordinate with procurement/logistics for delivery.

6. Stakeholder Engagement

Attend and organize meetings or site visits with clients and project partners.

7. Team Contribution

Assist with general tasks and support the team as needed. Handle additional duties assigned by ISEP (M) Sdn Bhd. Contribute to ISO audit documentation.
Starting Salary : RM 2,500.00

Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
