We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled
Proposal Engineer
to join our team in Petaling Jaya. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing technical proposals, reviewing specifications, and coordinating with internal teams and clients to deliver optimal valve solutions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in technical sales and project management within an established engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of Product Selection and Technical Proposals Based on Customer RFQs.
Review drawings, specifications, P&IDs, data sheets, etc., and propose the most suitable valves.
Coordinate with internal sales departments and KITZ Japan's Overseas Business Department to adjust and estimate pricing, delivery, and technical details.
Prepare and submit proposals, technical documents, and quotations.
Respond to customers' technical inquiries and, when necessary, accompany sales staff on visits and meetings.
Manage projects after orders are received.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering field (such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering), or equivalent knowledge and experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales or proposal engineering within the manufacturing or plant industry preferred.
Candidates with basic knowledge of valves, piping equipment, or process equipment are highly welcome.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,800.00 per month
