Negotiate contract terms of the agreement on pricing, quality and delivery.
Track orders and ensure timely delivery
Review the quality of purchased products
Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends
Requirements
At least SPM, Diploma in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
At least 2 - 3 years of purchasing/buyer experience in any industry. Healthcare/Pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
Computer literate and excellent knowledge of MS Office
Interest in market dynamics along with a business sense
Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts
Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels
Required language: Mandarin & English
