Aurum Precast, a leading supplier of precast concrete products for civil and building projects, is seeking a Purchasing Executive to manage procurement activities. This role will ensure that the materials and services required for our projects are sourced at the best value, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.Key Responsibilities:
1. **Procurement Management**:
- Source and procure raw materials (e.g., concrete, steel, rebar) required for production.
- Issue purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records. - Ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of all materials to meet project timelines.2. **Supplier Management**:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, price, reliability, and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers.4. **Cost Management**:
- Ensure all purchases are within budget and explore opportunities for cost reduction.
- Monitor market trends and conduct research to identify new suppliers or alternative materials.5. **Compliance and Reporting**:
- Ensure that all purchases comply with company policies and legal requirements.
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, cost analysis, and supplier performance.Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry. - Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
