An established and reputable manufacturer across Southeast Asia is seeking a

Purchasing Manager

to lead the procurement operations and aligning procurement strategies with organizational objectives while ensuring quality, budget, and timely delivery targets are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Implement procurement strategies that align with company goals and drive sourcing effectiveness. Source, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with reliable suppliers while ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets are consistently met. Analyze cost structures and lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions to ensure optimal value and risk mitigation. Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement activities with business needs and address delivery or quality issues proactively. Generate regular procurement reports, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and travel for supplier visits, sourcing trips, and etc.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in manufacturing with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong negotiation, cost management, and supplier management skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
