Job Description

SYNVISTA is a globally recognized integrated energy storage system company, specializing in the development of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions, manufacturing and integration of BESS. As we scale our operations in Malaysia to meet growing global demand, we are seeking a results-driven Purchasing Manager to lead and manage our local and international supply chain and procurement operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and components to support production and business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-



Plan, organize and manage the overall procurement and supply chain activities for the manufacturing plant. Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to achieve cost efficiency and ensure material availability. Identify, evaluate and qualify suppliers (both local & overseas) for raw materials, components and equipment. Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure favourable business outcomes. Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability and compliance with company standards. Coordinate closely with Production, Facility, Quality Control and Finance departments to align procurement with operational needs. Establish and manage inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and minimize material shortage or overstock. Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost improvement. Ensure compliance with company policies, import/export regulations and sustainability standards. Prepare regular reports and analysis on procurement performance, budget and cost saving initiatives.

QUALIFICATION:-



Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or its relevant. Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing, battery or energy industry. Strong knowledge of sourcing, vendor management and procurement best practices. Experience in cross border procurement and import/export documentation will be an added advantage. Excellent negotiation, communication and leadership skills. Proficient in Mandarin language as there is need to liaise with China-based suppliers. Strong analytical and problem solving abilities. The candidate must be willing to work in Jeram, Kuala Selangor.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
