Job Responsibilities:

Source and manage imported food products and packaging materials Negotiate with local and overseas suppliers on price, quality, and delivery Ensure all imported food products comply with Malaysian regulations and Halal (JAKIM) standards Manage import documentation, logistics, and customs clearance Oversee food repackaging activities Ensure all operations comply with Halal, GMP, and food safety requirements Monitor efficiency, quality, and wastage during repackaging Support new product introduction, packaging changes, and process improvements Ensure all products and processes comply with Malaysian Food Act 1983 & Food Regulations 1985 and Halal requirements Manage inventory of imported food products, packaging materials, and finished goods Collaborate with sales and planning teams to maintain stock levels and avoid shortages

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related fields Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG food operations Experience in imported food procurement Strong knowledge of Malaysian food regulations and Halal (JAKIM) requirements Good understanding of food packaging, labeling, and basic GMP
principles

Strong supplier management, negotiation, and cost control skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel/BI etc Familiar with imported food customs clearance and labeling compliance People management experiences
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
