QA/QC ENGINEER (CSA / MEP)
Job Title: QA/QC Engineer
Location:
Site BasedReports To: QA/QC Manager
Job Summary:
Guardian of the "Project Quality Plan." You ensure that every bolt, weld, and wire is installed according to
the specifications so the Data Centre qualifies for Uptime/TIA accreditation.
Detailed Scope of Work (Data Centre Specific):
ITP Management: Develop and enforce Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) with specific "Hold Points"
for critical DC elements (e.g., pressure testing fuel pipes, torque checks on busbars).
Material Verification: Conduct rigorous Material Receiving Inspections (MRI) to ensure
equipment matches the approved technical submittals (brand, model, capacity).
Digital QA: Utilize BIM 360 Field / Autodesk Construction Cloud to log defects (snags) and monitor close-out rates. Handover Documentation: Compile the "Red Line" drawings and Operation & Maintenance
(O&M) manuals progressively.
Compliance: Ensure installations meet local standards (Bomba, Suruhanjaya Tenaga) and Client
Global Standards (AWS/Google/Microsoft specs).
Requirements:
Education: Engineering Degree. Certification: ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or specific QC certs (CSWIP for welding, etc.) are advantageous. Experience: 10+ years in high-spec industrial or commercial projects.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM18,000.00 per month
