Job Description

The QAQC Engineer is responsible for overall laboratory operations, ensuring all material testing is conducted in accordance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements. This role also manages the preparation, submission, tracking, and closure of all RFIs related to quality and testing.

Key Responsibilities

Laboratory Operations

Take full charge of overall site laboratory operations and testing activities. Ensure all material tests (soil, concrete, aggregates, asphalt, etc.) are conducted in accordance with approved standards, specifications, and ITPs. Coordinate with site team, consultants, and external laboratories for testing requirements. Maintain calibration, upkeep, and compliance of all laboratory equipment. Ensure proper sampling, testing procedures, and accurate test reporting. Maintain complete laboratory records, test results, and traceability documentation.

Quality Assurance & Quality Control

Implement and monitor QAQC procedures in accordance with the project Quality Management Plan. Review test results and ensure compliance with project specifications and drawings. Identify non-conformances and raise NCRs where required. Recommend corrective and preventive actions and follow through until closure.

RFI Management

Prepare, submit, track, and close all RFIs related to testing, materials, and quality matters. Coordinate with consultants, clients, and site teams to obtain timely approvals. Ensure all RFIs are properly documented and closed within the required timeline. Maintain an updated RFI register and status reports.

Coordination & Reporting

Work closely with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, and consultants on quality matters. Attend quality meetings, inspections, and audits as required. Prepare and submit QAQC reports, test summaries, and compliance documentation. Support audits and inspections by clients or authorities.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
