Job Description

Role & Responsibilities :

1. Advise sub-contractor on client's QA/QC requirements to ensure Contractor commitment and compliance is in line with client's site-specific quality requirements and procedures.
2. Review sub-contractor documents such as Project Quality Plan, Method Statements, KPIs, etc.
3. Assess construction and installation methods of construction and ensure that QA/QC procedures are adequately implemented.
4. Conduct formal site QA/QC inspections and ensure recommended remedial actions are closed and reports are submitted to the client.
5. Audit Project Quality Plan, QA/QC Procedures, site activities and submit report to the client and follow-up on remedial actions implemented by sub-contractor.
6. Attend QA/QC meetings with contractor, and weekly progress meetings if required by Construction Manager.
7. Make sure that any non-conformity has been reported through a Non-Conformance Report.

Qualification & Requirement :

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline from a recognised university.
2. Minimum 3 years of strong work experience with roads & infrastructure projects.
3. Slope, road and bridge experience will be an added advantage preferably with JKR project.
4. Positive attitude, highly initiative and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
5. Possess ability to work under pressure, tight schedules and in stringent environment.
