Conduct
price negotiations
with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency.
Prepare
Bills of Quantities (BQ)
, pricing details, and cost breakdowns.
Liaise with
clients and consultants
on all commercial matters (BQ and cost-related).
Participate actively in
project meetings
and provide contractual input.
Carry out
site work evaluations
for progress claims and verification.
Prepare and manage
Change Orders (CO), Variation Orders (VO), and Letters of Commitment (LOC)
.
Prepare and submit
progress payment claims
to clients.
Verify and process
subcontractor and supplier payment claims
.
Undertake any other contractual and commercial tasks assigned by Management.
Job Requirements
Possess a
Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying
.
Minimum
3 years of working experience
in the
Interior Design / Fit-Out
industry.
Retail project experience
will be an added advantage.
Positive working attitude, disciplined, proactive, and results-driven.
Strong knowledge of
pre-contract administration, cost estimation, tendering, and post-contract management
.
Conversant in
Standard Method of Measurement (SMM)
rules and BQ preparation.
Proficient in
Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
.
Ability to
read drawings
and interpret
project schedules
effectively.
