Review contract terms and conditions to minimize potential risks.
Call for quotations, evaluate suppliers and subcontractors, and ensure competitive pricing.
Measure quantities, prepare cost estimates, and build-up rates for tender submissions.
Compile and submit tender documentation on time.
Attend meetings with clients and subcontractors to discuss project progress and variations.
Prepare interim valuations, progress claims, and variation orders.
Track and report project financial status throughout the construction period.
Manage contract correspondence and final account settlements.
Develop procurement strategies and manage the tender and award process.
Evaluate subcontractor works and prepare interim payment claims.
Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimization.
Maintain accurate financial and contract records, and ensure timely reporting.
Build and maintain good relationships with clients and subcontractors.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
1-3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or contract management. Fresh graduate are welcome to apply.
Membership with RICS or BQSM will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge in cost management, procurement, contract administration, and value engineering.
Familiar with construction processes, regulations, and QS software.
Excellent analytical, numerical, communication, and negotiation skills.
