Acts as a bridge for communication between internal and external stakeholders
Prioritizes food safety, cost-effectiveness, product quality, and operational capability as key criteria for product development
Product Development
Develop new flavors and products, including processing procedures, techniques, and specifications
Review and improve existing products
Provide technical input for formulation changes
Provide technical input for cost simulation
Address problems encountered during processing and ingredient selection
Proactively manage all R&D activities
Technical Support
Provide technical support for production issues to ensure safe and quality products
Train and support other teams in areas such as Sales & Marketing, Procurement, and Manufacturing
Administrative and Communication
Develop guidelines and procedures for new product research that meet HQ requirements
Communicate with R&D staff and other departments to coordinate new projects and resolve issues
Confident and able to facilitate change across different departments
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with excellent communication abilities to act as a project champion for stakeholders
Education & Experience
Degree in Food Science or its equivalent
Minimum 5 years of working experience in food industry, experience in sauce-related manufacturing is preferred
Knowledge and experience in regulatory affairs will be an advantage
Requirements & Skill
Excellent communication and project management skills
Excellent skill in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and data processing
Good team player and have leadership skills
Good command of English.
Positive thinking, self-motivated, result oriented and accountable, mature to challenges
Willing to work in Shah Alam & Bandar Enstek
