Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for cosmetic and personal care product formulation including:

• Innovative new product concept & formulation
• Research on raw materials to maintain or change to improve current formulation
• Strong understanding on how to develop base formulation & functions of raw material
• Ensure formulation is stable & safe according to NPRA requirements

Responsible for product development including:

• Managing product development timeline, cost and quality
• Sourcing & proposing suitable packaging and ensuring compatibility with formulation
• Compiling, updating & documenting of Product Information Files
• Tracking changes to ingredients list and regulatory requirements
• Working with other departments in research, quality assurance & production to ensure consistency of the product quality.
• Monitoring new development projects at production scale
• Strong knowledge in latest market trends in personal and skin care cosmetic field.
• Liaise with customer on daily technical issues
• Perform other related business duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior from time to time.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree with relevant Chemistry or Biology background (Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Applied Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Industrial biology etc.) or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
• At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Good in Mathematics and communication skills.
• Fast learner and able to work independently.
• Fresh graduates with right and positive attitude are encourage to apply.
• Successful candidates must be willing to work in Alor Setar.
