Develop and test new food products and improve existing ones.
Conduct research on ingredients, formulations, and processing methods.
Perform sensory evaluations and shelf-life studies.
Collaborate with production to ensure feasibility of new formulations.
Ensure products meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards (e.g., Halal, HACCP, GMP).
Document R&D processes, test results, and specifications.
Support product cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
Keep up to date with industry trends, ingredients, and technologies.
Coordinate pilot trials and production scale-up.
Liaise with suppliers for raw material sourcing and technical information.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
Minimum 2 years experience in food manufacturing R&D.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Attention to detail and creativity in food innovation.
