Regional Business Strategy Assistant Manager

Job Description
To offer assistance in overseeing international operations, particularly in Europe and Asia, along with potential new markets in the future. Additionally, to provide ad-hoc support to senior management whenever needed, which may encompass various tasks and responsibilities.
- Assisting in managing international operations, and potential new markets
- Monitoring business performance and escalating critical issues to senior management.
- Acting as the main coordinator between local management and regional Heads of Departments/Managers.
- Addressing and resolving issues raised by country managers, providing solutions, consulting with regional HODs/Managers, or escalating to senior management when necessary.
- Conducting research and analysis to facilitate decision-making processes.
- Ensuring successful execution and monitoring outcomes of strategic initiatives and pilot projects by following up with relevant stakeholders.
- Taking any other necessary actions to support the development of businesses in business countries.
- Providing ad-hoc assistance to senior management, which may involve tasks such as incorporating companies in new countries, considering local shareholding and tax regulations.
- Reviewing the existing corporate structure to align with investment objectives.
Degree in related field
Proactive and do not shy away from challenges
Able to come up with business solutions quickly and effectively
Good oral and written skills
Mandarin speaking is preferred (to communicate with stakeholders)
Large retail player in Malaysia, ever expanding, looking to further grow their business with the right strategies in plan.
Working with a large business with clear direction and supportive management, and will be given the chance to progress accordingly.
