Job Description

The Regional Compliance Manager will oversee and ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies within the retail industry. This permanent role involves providing guidance, conducting audits, and implementing compliance programs effectively.

• Assist the Regional Compliance Officer in overseeing the company's Regional Compliance Program across SEAPAC, North Asia, and India, including compliance planning activities.
• Conduct transaction clearance, monitoring, and auditing to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
• Collaborate with management to enhance the design and implementation of policies, processes, and internal controls.
• Develop and deliver compliance training programs and communications to strengthen organizational awareness.
• Coordinate with regional legal teams, global compliance, and assurance functions (audit, risk, etc.) to support governance requirements.
• Contribute to the effective operation of the whistle-blower program.
• Provide support for compliance-related investigations on an ad hoc basis as required.

A successful Regional Compliance Manager should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Accountancy, Business, or a related discipline.
• Strong expertise in risk management, compliance principles, business process controls, and regulatory frameworks.
• Working knowledge of SAP, Concur, and related financial/business systems.
• Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley, US FCPA, and direct selling laws, with an understanding of their impact on compliance programs.
• Excellent organizational abilities, including planning, communication, decision-making, delegation, and problem-solving.
• Self-driven, proactive, and highly organized, with the ability to meet deadlines effectively.
