Job Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Provide professional, responsive customer service to local and international customer requests for equipment or information.

\xc2\xb7 Process customer requests for pick up or drop off of equipment in accordance with operational procedures and business terms.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate equipment control and damage approval activities with storage and repair depot vendors in accordance with technical and operational procedures.

\xc2\xb7 Follow up with customers and depots to ensure equipment is moving through the maintenance and repair cycle on a timely basis.

\xc2\xb7 Update container damage status in central computer system. Resolve discrepancies between EDI activity sent electronically by depot vendors and the system status.

\xc2\xb7 Reconcile vendor invoices and purchase orders for depot, survey and drayage expenses.

\xc2\xb7 Process invoices for the sale of equipment and coordinate pick up with depot and buyer.

\xc2\xb7 Assist marketing with regional customer requirements in both the leasing and selling of equipment.

\xc2\xb7 Liaise with regional offices and agents and other departments to provide internal customer service and coordinate activities.

\xc2\xb7 Perform activity and inventory reconciliations on a bi-monthly basis for gate buy customers and consignment yards.

\xc2\xb7 Other projects as assigned.

Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 2+ years office experience in an administrative or operational capacity

\xc2\xb7 Must be fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia

\xc2\xb7 Container leasing or shipping industry experience preferred

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree preferred

\xc2\xb7 Excellent attention to details

\xc2\xb7 Excellent verbal and written communication skills

\xc2\xb7 Strong customer service skills

\xc2\xb7 Proficient in Word and basic Excel functions

\xc2\xb7 Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects while maintaining quality of performance is a must

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work collaboratively as well as individually in a fast-paced environment
