A Snapshot of Your Day

You will be the technical adviser of our Sales team in Asia Pacific supporting them to provide an optimal technical solution to the customer. You will analyze our customers specifications, you will prepare budgetary quotations and you will be the interface to our Proposal Hubs providing them the insights of the customer expectations and communicating the technical details back to the customer. In close cooperation with Sales, you will participate in negotiations being responsible for explaining and discussing our technical proposals and with your deep knowledge of the Siemens Energy turbine technology ensuring the technical part of the contract will be in line with our technology.
You will be integrated into the Proposals Hub Team of the factories in Europe and in regular meetings you will report about the local situation to theHead of this team.

How You\'ll Make an Impact

• You will develop bid projects and future turbine concepts from the very beginning in close cooperation with our Sales team.
• You will analyze and evaluate customer specifications for industrial Steam Turbine Generator sets.
• You will prepare technical budget proposals as well as technical binding offers including cost calculation in coordination with the proposal teams in our factories in Europe (Germany and Czech Republic).
• You will conduct presentations and negotiations with customers and hand over successful projects to order processing.

What You Bring

• A sound Degree in mechanical engineering, energy/process engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in the field of turbine/power plant/plant technology
• Familiar with reading and understanding P&IDs or other process related drawings
• Experience in the functions of proposal management, technical sales, project execution or project management
• High level English skills are essential
• Basic commercial knowledge, Team and communication skills and good handling of MS Office applications
• Willingness for (inter-)national business trips
