A Snapshot of Your Day

You will be responsible for the sales of Siemens Energy Small Power Generation (SPG) & Industrial Steam Turbines (IST) in Asia Pacific and securing supply contracts within the existing Siemens Energy guidelines.

How You\'ll Make an Impact

\xc2\xb7 Developing and managing of projects from pre-acquisition activities up to handover to the project execution team in the assigned territory, including regular travels.

\xc2\xb7 Increase Siemens Energy market share in this Business segment.

\xc2\xb7 Contribute and coordinate (from the region itself) as technical expert to fulfill customer demands and reduce dependency on the factories.

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for sales of Steam Turbines in Asia Pacific by building long-term and trusted business.

\xc2\xb7 Manage cross functional team ie local Sales team to ensure project success (like Cost Outs, Bench Marking, Vendor Development, Optimized solutions) within stipulated times.

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for direct customer engagement, managing proposal works and obtaining management approvals (LoA\'s).

\xc2\xb7 Leading the discussions throughout the bidding phase including clarifications, negotiations until contract closure

\xc2\xb7 Key Player and taking forward the IST & SPG Growth Initiatives

\xc2\xb7 Ensure that the Technical and Commercial proposals meet SE standards for quality, completeness, and timeliness in response to client inquiries.

\xc2\xb7 In-charge to build the project pipeline and develop the rolling forecast process for the responsible countries in due consultation with the local Sales team.

\xc2\xb7 Timely & accurately update the data in the Sales Force and ensure all the processes (like LOA\'s approvals) are in place as per the defined guidelines.

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for creating the conceptual solutions, develop unique selling propositions & implement the sales strategies.

\xc2\xb7 Substitute and Support the Proposal community in case of Manpower constraints in order to fulfill the customers\' expectations and improve customer intimacy.

\xc2\xb7 Reporting market feedback inside the organization

\xc2\xb7 Managing potentially local business partners in given territories

What You Bring

\xc2\xb7 A sound Degree in Engineering.

\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in written and oral English

\xc2\xb7 Minimum 10 years\' experience in Power generation business field (i.e., commercial, project management, proposals, application or erection and commissioning field), contract negotiations (dealing with power industry major products preferred - i.e. Steam Turbines, Boilers, Compressor, pumps, heat exchangers, construction)

\xc2\xb7 Experience in guiding other team members and regional co-ordination of activities will be an added advantage.

\xc2\xb7 Setting high standards and monitoring progress towards goals; tenaciously working to meet or exceed goals; defining success by goal achievement and continuous improvement.

\xc2\xb7 Using One\'s knowledge of economic, market and industry trends to understand and improve individual and/or organizational levers (systems, processes, departments, functions) that drive sustainable profitable growth.

\xc2\xb7 Capable of working in a multinational and multicultural team. And Regional working experience is a strong asset.
