Job Description

To ensure to set the correct selling strategy / price and the room type availability must be kept accurate - highlighting any potential obstacles to occupancy immediately to the Front Office Manager and Hotel Manager.

Handling incoming reservations via telephone, email or fax and converting enquiries into bookings by positively selling and promoting the products and services of the hotel.

To be well versed in hotel reservations system.

To check all Agent/Company profiles created yesterday. Ensure that the new profiles are not duplicates of existing profiles.

Daily Check Group Allotments, Blocks, Traces, Arrivals and other reports. Follow up with sales if any delay, discrepancy, et in Group bookings

Check and action No-show. Check upcoming arrivals by report and system.

To gather intelligence information from competitors and travel partners.

Ensure all incoming reservations and enquiries are action in a timely manner.

Ensure that the reservations operate with a sales attitude and all personnel are aware of sales opportunities within the hotel, which will assist, with the maximization of revenue.

To ensure a high level of product knowledge of the hotel within the team enabling them to sell rooms and facilities to the best of their ability and with the aim of 100% conversion.

Ensure that all bookings have a file and all correspondence has been filed accordingly, with correct and updated information recorded.

Ensure all refused business is recorded with reason for refusal.

Adhere to company credit policies to ensure that all revenue expected will be received.

To ensure proper control of the room inventory. To highlight any abnormalities to Reservation & Revenue Manager.

Handle all guest comments or complaints relating to the services of the Reservations and take necessary action or service recovery.

Ensure that guest history is maintained and updated regularly and that the information is accurate, complete and recorded in the appropriate systems.

Adheres to all standards, policies and procedures in compliance with the hotel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM1,800.00 per month
