Location: Petaling Street, Kuala Lumpur (near Pasar Seni)

We are looking for a passionate and driven Assistant Manager Trainee to join our growing team. In this full-time role, you will undergo structured training across orchard operations, retail store management, and food & beverage handling, with a clear pathway towards management-level responsibilities.No prior durian knowledge? Don't worry -- training will be provided. What matters most are your leadership potential, customer service mindset, and willingness to learn.

Assist the Store Manager in the overall management of durian retail and F&B operations, including planning, organizing, and supervising day-to-day activities. Learn and support durian field operations (harvesting, sorting & grading, supplier negotiation, and logistics coordination). Oversee retail store operations: display management, quality control, customer assistance, order fulfillment, and inventory tracking. Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and a high-quality customer experience. Schedule, guide, and supervise team members; provide coaching and mentoring where required. Monitor inventory, stock levels, and preservation methods to ensure product freshness. Support in budgeting, cost control, and efficient resource allocation. Assist in the development and execution of marketing and promotional strategies, including retail campaigns and livestream activities. Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation of new initiatives.

Job Requirements



SPM / Diploma / Degree in any field (hospitality, food & beverage, or business-related is a plus). Prior experience in F&B, retail, or supervisory roles is an advantage Strong leadership and people management potential, with the ability to coach and motivate a team Excellent customer service skills, with a positive and approachable personality. Basic knowledge of inventory management and cost control (training will be provided). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with both customers and suppliers. Willingness to work on a rotational schedule (field, retail, and events). Passionate about learning and growing in the durian F&B industry.

Monthly Commission:

RM300 (if renting outside)

Medical Claim:

Up to RM500 (effective after probation period)

Overtime Pay:

According to scheduled timetable & approved hours

Probation Period:

3 to 6 months (management level)
