Be familiar with how to prepare Daily Pick-Up report and to assist in preparing and sharing report in the absence of Revenue & Reservations Manager.
Be able to effectively identify rate parity among OTAs and share the information with Revenue & Reservations Manager so as to achieve rate consistency and drive more direct bookings.
Ensure web site booking process is maintained up-to-date and functional.
Ensure rates and availability are always accurate and up-to-date on brand website
Work in liaison with hotel sales and reservations departments as a team.
Build strong networks and business relationships with OTAs and TAs.
Be constantly on the lookout on what promotions competitions are coming up with and be creative to come up with innovative and attractive promotions to bring in more sales for rooms and F&B.
To be in the know, conduct periodic market surveys and attend industry exhibitions and conferences to find out the latest trends and happenings in the market.
Monitor and report results on promotions and campaigns
Perform any other reasonable requests made by management.
Reservations
Ensure that general hotel and department policies & procedures are understood and adhered to
Be well in the products and services offered in the hotel. This includes, but not limited to, room categories, room rates, room packages, services offered and their rates, F&B operating timings, F&B promotions, events.
Provide prompt, confident, courteous and efficient service to our guests.
Be conversant with billing arrangements for different categories of guests and to be able to advice accurately and timely when needed
Upsell products and services whenever possible.
Maintain an accurate database of guest profiles by conducting regular guest profile clean-up.
Ensure that reservations are accurate and updated in OPERA and UMAI with relevant information.
Comply with all quality assurance standards set by the management.
Maintain strict confidentiality of guests information and property data.
Execute and update all financial transactions accurately.
Work closely with all departments to ensure guest requirements are met.
Handle group bookings as well as end to end reservations processes meticulously.
Conscientiously go through checklist daily and ensure that all daily tasks are performed according to standards set.
Ensure that Front Office & F&B is adequately trained and be competent to handle reservations during absence.
Perform any other reasonable requests made by management
