As an RMA Engineer, you\'ll manage phone device repairs, liaise with stakeholders, track SLAs, troubleshoot technical issues, optimize processes, maintain records, and collaborate cross-functionally for a seamless repair experience.Who Are We?CompAsia is a digital and technology company that provides end-to-end solutions for certified pre-owned devices focusing on the mobile phone life-cycle value chain.   • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a repair or technical support role, preferably within the electronics or telecommunications industry.
  • Proven experience managing repair processes and working with third-party repair services.
  • Strong understanding of phone device repair processes, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with quality standards and procedures for electronics repair.
  • Proficiency in using repair management software and tracking tools.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, including engineers, technicians, procurement teams, and management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Ability to analyze repair data and identify trends or areas for improvement.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless repair process and customer experience.
  • Experience in identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technological advancements in phone repairs.
ResponsibilitiesWhat Role Will You Play in Shaping CompAsia\'s Future? * Manage the repair process of phone devices, both inbound and outbound, ensuring all repairs are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates on repair status and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Monitor and track repair SLAs with third-party repairer to ensure repairs are completed within the agreed upon timeframe.
  • Ensure all repairs are completed on time and meet quality standards, following established processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the repair process.
  • Build capabilities and providing guidance to repair technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively repair phone devices.
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs, including tracking repair history, parts used, and costs associated with each repair.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to streamline the repair process and increase efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure all necessary parts and materials are available for repairs.
  • Conduct regular audits of the repair process to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with inventory management, including tracking and ordering replacement parts and materials as needed.
  • Stay current on industry trends and technology advancements in phone repairs to ensure the repair process remains up-to-date and effective.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to management on repair metrics, including repair turnaround time, quality of repairs, and cost per repair.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and sales, to ensure a seamless repair process and customer experience.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the repair department and company goals.
