Summary
Finance transactional role in Smith & Nephew Global Business Services (GBS) responsible for the delivery of effective and efficient finance transactional processes and controls from a GBS centre as described in the S&N Finance and in line with the Group Finance Manual, Minimum Acceptable Practices (MAPs) and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
This role will help set the narrative around our product value proposition, by clearly utilising evidence to showcase, value and what our products can achieve and deliver. Achieving this will require working closely with other functions and departments to deliver complex projects, a joined up approach and a H.E. strategy that adds value to S+N.
Essential Job Functions
Deliver a professional and consistent service to customers by supporting in resolving Local Country inquiries for the RTR function.
Work collaboratively with internal customers and partners.
Support in activities to enhance the effectiveness of the team includes helping new joiners to successfully settle into their new role in their stream.
Carry out RTR closing activities accurately including preparing and analyse BS reconciliation reports within specified timescales.
Responsible for month end closing and actual variance analysis.
Ensure compliance to key controls defined in MAPS and RACM and Smith & Nephew Finance Manual.
Requirements
Minimum of 1+ years of direct management accounting experience in a fast-paced shared services industry. Proficient in SAP and Microsoft office applications, especially advanced knowledge of Excel & Power Point.
