At least diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
Certification as a Safety Professional (e.g., CSP, ASP, OHST) preferred.
Proven experience in a safety-related role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards, including OSHA, PA, and NFPA.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and engage employees at all levels of the organization.
Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and incident investigations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

Responsibilities

Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
Conduct safety training sessions for employees and promote a culture of safety awareness.
Identify workplace hazards through regular inspections and implement corrective measures.
Investigate accidents and incidents, maintain records, and report findings to management.
Stay current with safety regulations and standards, and ensure compliance.
Develop emergency response plans and coordinate drills to test procedures.
Foster a positive safety culture through communication and employee engagement.
