KONE Malaysia is embarking upon an exciting growth phase and as such we are seeking an Assistant Sales and Operations Planning Manager to join our Delivery Operation team in Petaling Jaya. He/she will assist and supports S&OP manager on Front Line side in Sales & Operations Planning. Also, he/she ensures that the Sales-to-Operations handover has been performed according to the FL policy, verifies completeness and quality of order information and books agreed jobs and contracts to KONE systems so they are considered as Order Received (OR). This role needs to support one or more process areas, depending on unit needs and estimated workload. The responsibilities are including assisting in planning, data analysis, preparation of information for process execution and performance management. He/she needs to evaluate and develop a team of professionals so that the organization has access to the material and inputs it needs to operate, and all the order booking tasks are handled consistently and on time. What will you be doing?

a) Manage S&OP activities

Assist and support S&OP Manager, for example with analysis of product mix trends, forecast accuracy root causes to identify forecast improvements, and lead time trends against assumptions used for the forecasts.

Accountable for implementing and maintaining the S&OP process by training, coaching, influencing, and supporting all projects.

Supports S&OP Manager in preparing meaningful, decision-making material for monthly Executive Meeting (incl. regional demand plan consolidation, mix/trend analysis, risk and opportunity identification, financial scenario analysis, explanation of historical variation to plan for all projects).

b) Order Book Management

Assist and support S&OP Manager on lead time trends against assumptions used for the forecasts.

Support Delivery Operations Managers, Supervisors and/or respective roles on Front Line side in Order Book accuracy and quality.

Responsible to maintain Milestones planning accuracy by coordinating with Project managers & supervisors.

Resolves any planning related master data inaccuracies or issues (such as ensuring generally realistic MS2 to MS5 durations in standard networks).

Ensures that order book is updated by the operations team of the FL (S-plan milestones). Send out milestones report to project team to ensure milestones up to date.

c) Key Driver for In-Process Review (IPR) and Project Portfolio review

Prepare monthly IPR project selection listing and discuss with S&OP manager

Drive the IPR review meeting with all stakeholders, prepare analysis after IPR review and forecast cost updated in SAP

Pro-actively to liaise with Operations, Sourcing, CSE and Finance to understand the Risk and Opportunities of IPR selected projects. Also agreed on corrective actions, define responsibilities and deadlines, and share learnings.

Register all VO Opportunities and Risk (omission) in the tracking after IPR meeting.

Prepare the IPR Portfolio Review meeting slides and discuss with S&OP manager.

Provide some input to ASC team to generate monthly Project Portfolio Dashboard.

Compile the action items on MoM with all the respective stakeholders.

Focus on all milestones planning by networks level, IPR status and financial impact, Cash to Cost, Project Costing by Networks and RE level (Actual + Commitment cost vs. Forecast) and take necessary action to close the gap.

d) Forecast cost management, SAP support and other ad-hoc tasks

Experience in financial and costing analysis, to provide support on analysis of project costing and update in SAP during IPR review, project review and TECW process.

Contributes in the development of planning processes and best practices and assists with their implementation and guides, supports and trains project teams in their application.

Provide SAP training and refresher to operations and new joiners.

Support any ad-hoc planning tasks and assignment/projects.

e) Accountable for correct and timely booking of received orders and VOs

Prepare Order booking absolutes form for each of new order booking.

Ensures that other order booking absolutes have been met and quality of required deliverables is adequate for order booking

To obtain approval from S&OP Manager on Order booking absolutes form before raise KPM ticket to ASC for new project booking.

Collect all supporting documents for new project booking and store in sharepoint

Validate the VO Enabler and Supporting Documents from Project Admins

Compile all the VO details into VO listing and co-ordinate into Monthly IPR Portfolio Review slides to obtain approval from Delivery Operations Director and Finance Director for approval.

Raise KPM request to ASC for all the new VO booking.

f) Support any ad\xe2\x80\x90hoc planning tasks and assignment/projects.

Are you the one?

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree, Professional Degree in Finance, Accountance or equivalent.

Minimum with 5 years of experience in Finance, or Demand Planning role.

Prior working experience implementing cross functional processes.

Proficient in Microsoft Application especially MS Excel and SAP.

Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with every level of the organization.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, especially in English

Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines
