Key Responsibilities:
Deliver GP budgets and act strategically to achieve individual and team goals.
Identify and build strong relationships with clients, focusing on those that meet preferred client criteria.
Engage key internal and external stakeholders to grow the client base.
Meet agreed FaceTime targets through visits, calls, and direct mail to both new and existing customers.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline exceeding territory budgets and hit rates.
Promptly register and manage opportunities in the CRM system.
Use the company's sales processes to understand client needs and offer value-added supply chain solutions, staying updated on new sailings/routings.
Share relevant customer information internally to support service delivery.
Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and manage complaints.
Work according to sales process tools and collaborate closely with team members to maximize overall business performance.
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years work experiences with a minimum of
4 years
of experience in
freight forwarding
sales, with a
proven and documented track record of success
.
Hands-on sales experience and solid working knowledge of the
international transportation and logistics
industry.
Strong awareness of financial drivers within the local economy, coupled with a deep understanding of international market dynamics, global trade issues, currency fluctuations, and cross-cultural business practices.
Good computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft office, CRM tools etc
Fluent in English and other local languages that the job requires, to manage customer and other contacts
