Job Summary:Responsible for safeguarding people, property, and assets by monitoring premises, controlling access, and responding to emergencies. Core responsibilities include patrolling, enforcing security policies, and documenting incidents. Strong observational, communication, and problem-solving skills are crucial.Job Responsibilities:Lead and manage security personnel to ensure optimal performance, operational efficiency, and effectiveness across key areas including Manufacturing Plants, Tooling facilities, Warehouses, and Dormitories.Oversee security operations, including access control, surveillance systems, guard management, and physical security equipment, ensuring functionality and adequate staffing at all times.Monitor and evaluate the performance of outsourced security guards, ensuring adherence to service standards.Monitor the attendance and appearance of security guards, ensuring compliance with uniform and hygiene standard.Supervises and trains the guarding security and other personnel assigned to protective service duties, as necessary.Assist Security Manager to implement Mattel procedures to protect the assets in compliance with Mattel Global policies and procedures and compliance with all local, state, and federal applicable laws.Oversee the access badge control system, including the preparation and management of employee badging activities.Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and operational systems to ensure compliance with company policies and take immediate corrective actions when deviations or deficiencies are found.Review all security incident reports, identifying and addressing potential issues to be addressed.Assist in and conduct preliminary investigations on security incidents, including breaches, brand protection, intellectual property concerns, theft, and workplace violence.Conduct post-incident analysis to identify the root cause and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.Coordinate security activities with relevant departments to support the security awareness program.Support and participate with any internal or external audits related to security, supply chain, or any other relevant audits.Assist and develop security measures for restricted access products to meet business needs. Handle special projects involving RAP security.Job Requirements:Minimum Diploma or Bachelors degree. Advanced certifications such as CPP, PSP, CISSP, TAPA, or C-TPAT are an advantage.Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role within a Security organization, preferably at an MNC or in a similar industry.Experience in conducting investigations into security-related incidents such as breaches, loss prevention cases, and workplace violence.In-depth knowledge of security equipment and systems, including intrusion alarms, CCTV, integrated security systems, card access systems (preferably Lenel and C-Cure), badge preparation, and visitor management systems.Proficiency in English and Malay is required. Fluency in additional languages, both spoken and written, is considered an advantage.Experience in conducting supply chain security assessments and audits,such as C-TPAT, customer audits, and internal/external audits.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate security risks effectively.Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and incident response strategies.Strong leadership and management skills to oversee security operations and personnel.
