• Analyze approved requirements from stakeholders (across IT and business functions).
• Works with the domain experts and data/app owners to transform the data.
• Designs, creates, orchestrates, and maintains the data pipelines and data extraction scripts.
• Writes scripts to extract the data (Python)
• Manage the application layer for the CI/CD tool used for sourcing data (Jenkins).
• Assesses data quality, monitors CI/CD jobs and troubleshoots failures.
• Documents the data dictionary and data pipelines / business rules.
• Works with Data Engineers to deploy/ coordinate the deployment of new data sources.

• Minimum 5 years working experience as data engineer.
• Great understanding of Data Bases (MS SQL/ NoSQL),
• Good Programming Language in Python.
• Experience in working with a Jenkins CI/CD platform.
• Experience in integrating with data sources over API.
• Software engineering skills; exemplifies coding and software design best practices DevOps/GIT
• Understanding the concepts of data warehousing, including ETL/ ELT (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data migration and data modeling.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (primarily MS Azure).
• Experience in working with Power BI & Agile.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze large data sets to identify gaps and inconsistencies, provide data insights, and advance effective product solutions.

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Information System, or related field required.
• Strong communication skills (in English, both orally and in the writing, including moderating meetings)
• Candidate willing to be based either in Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur or Georgetown, Penang.
• Hybrid working model. (2-3 days working from office in a week)
