ROLE: Senior Data Engineer LOCATION: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia JOB DESCRIPTION: Overall responsibility for the Data Lake platform, including data engineering.

• Work with Lead, Corporate Reporting and Dashboards, and Lead, Data Governance and Quality as well as Technology Architecture team to provide the enterprise data lake services.

• Work with data architects to design and build a data lake that provides actional able data-driven insights used for tactical and strategic decision making

• Have strong leadership and communication skills in order to enable data driven technical transformation

• Responsible for growing theteam to meet the demands of data and analytics services.

• Works with data science teams to refine and optimize data science and machine learning models, algorithms by providing the necessary foundational data lake and data engineering capabilities

• Integrate analytics and data science outputs into business processes and workflows

• Provide technical leadership on large data engineering projects and ensuring that they are completed on schedule and on budget

Must Have: \xc2\xb7 Demonstrated experience in designing Enterprise Data Engineering framework , Data Mesh, Data Fabric \xc2\xb7 Coding knowledge and experience with several languages: Python, Scala, R , C, C++, Java, \xc2\xb7 Experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages: R, Python, SQL, etc. \xc2\xb7 Experience using at least 2 cloud platform Azure , AWS, GCP and Hybrid environment. \xc2\xb7 Experience with distributed data/computing tools: Azure Databricks , Unity Catalogue, Purview, \xc2\xb7 Spark Streaming, Hive, Delta Lake, Spark, MySQL, etc. \xc2\xb7 Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres / Cassandra/ MongoDb/Cosmos Db \xc2\xb7 Flexible and able to take up new roles and responsibility as per company\xe2\x80\x99s direction. \xc2\xb7 Azure Data Platform technologies (Data Factory, Databricks, Azure SQL, Synapse, PySpark, Python, SQL, Power BI) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: RM11,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month Benefits:
