Job Description

Job Objective:

To manage, develop, and optimize the company's WooCommerce website, ensuring a seamless online shopping experience, robust site performance, and scalable e-commerce solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

WooCommerce Website Management

Manage, customize, and maintain the WooCommerce e-commerce platform, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.

Implement new plugins, features, and design improvements to enhance the user experience (UX/UI).

Store Development & Customization

Develop and customize WooCommerce themes and plugins according to business requirements.

Optimize the website for mobile responsiveness, speed, and SEO best practices.

Technical Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Monitor site health, conduct regular updates for WordPress, WooCommerce, and plugins.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and compatibility problems.

Product Catalog & Inventory Management

Set up and manage product listings, categories, and variations within WooCommerce.

Ensure data accuracy for pricing, inventory, SKUs, and product attributes.

Payment Gateway & Security

Integrate and maintain payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, FPX).

Ensure site security, backups, and PCI compliance for safe transactions.

Analytics & Reporting

Implement tracking tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, and conversion tracking.

Generate reports on sales, traffic, conversion rates, and customer behavior for business insights.

Collaboration & Support

Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to launch campaigns and promotions.

Provide technical support and training to internal teams as needed.

Continuous Improvement

Stay updated on the latest WordPress, WooCommerce, and e-commerce trends.

Recommend and implement improvements for better performance and user engagement.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in IT, Web Development, Computer Science, or related fields. 3+ years of experience working with WooCommerce and WordPress development. Proficiency in: PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript WooCommerce hooks, filters, and APIs Plugin and theme customization Experience with SEO optimization, page speed enhancement, and website security. Familiar with payment gateway integrations, logistic intergrations and e-commerce compliance. Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail. Experience with Shopify or Magento is a plus. Knowledge of UX/UI design principles. Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM integration.

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
