Job Description




GENERAL SUMMARY

  • Handle full spectrum of Commercial Unit function and to ensure that Commercial policy guidelines are correctly interpreted and fairly applied in the overall management and operations of all Commercial activities in terms of Credit Control, Contract Compliance, Promotion, etc at airport level. This also includes implementation of Business Plans and Strategies, Communications, supports, Implementation and Maintenance of Business processes which involves the SAP Flexi RE support and reporting, processing and documentation of Contracts and Agreements, monitoring and updating of contract requirements.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
  • Overall supervision and execution of Commercial Procedures and Policies and execute effectively of any General Administrative Procedures and Process in related to Commercial Policies and Standard Operation Procedures.
  • Identify, Evaluate and implement all business proposals at the airport level for approval.
  • Propose development business pla for airportin maximizing and optimising commercial area for maximum revenue.
  • Establish good raport and working relationship with tenant, government agencies, Finance, Legal and Planning Division in order to ensure customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance and analysis.
  • Perform monthly reporting for commercial performance and manage account receivable effectively.
  • To enforce the company\'s credit policies and proceduresd at airport level.
  • Ensure all customer accounts are monitored and updated under cash management system.
  • Assist Cash Management System staff monitoring and checking Commercial customer\'s account.
  • Provide informative & resourceful in terms of providing valuable data to Concessionaires
  • Support concessionaires to drive/achieve baseline and royalty
  • Perform Other related duties as required
Key Challenges
  • To develop Business Plan and Strategies for all Airports under the area of coverage
  • Implement, manage and operationalize the Business Plans and see through each and every business process to its successful conclusion
  • Monitor the status of ongoing contract and all Commercial activities to ensure that they are kept current and in compliance with the term and condition of contracts.
  • To improve Occupancy rate and maximizing space utilization

Skills
  • Detailed Knowledge in Airport management and Airport Marketing
  • General knowledge in Financial, Human Resources and Commercial management.
  • Detailed knowledge of ICAO standards and recommended practices is Mandatory i.e. Advance course qualification in aviation management
  • Posses wide understanding of related laws, statutes, regulations, and certification requirement governing the airport
  • Air traffic control knowledge, experience and license (preferably)/trained by the DCA
  • Vast experience in aviation industry
  • General knowledge in Aerodrome management
  • Experience in managing the airport
Relevant Industries

Internal
  • Degree holder with minimum 3 years relevant working experience in Senior Executive role OR
  • Diploma holder with minimum 5 years relevant working experience in Senior Executive role OR
  • Certificate /STPM holder with minimum 7 years relevant working experience in Senior Executive role
  • Must achieve and maintain the following performance rating for two (2) consecutive years of at least
  • Exceptional / A or Outstanding / B; and
  • Minimum Meet Expectations / C
  • The employee must not be subjected to disciplinary punishments except for disciplinary counselling, caution, reminder & warning for the past 36 consecutive months immediately preceding the promotion
External
  • Degree holder with minimum 3.0 CGPA with minimum 5 years relevant experience
Education

Internal
  • Degree/ Diploma in Business Administration/Study/Marketing OR
  • Certificate/ STPM in Business Administration/Study/Marketing OR
  • MCE / SPM with Credit in Bahasa, Pass in Mathematics and English
External
  • Degree in Business Administration/Study/Marketing
