• Regional role supporting multiple jurisdictions
• Hybrid exposure and skills in the areas of Legal, Compliance and Corporate Secretarial

• Drafting diversified range of contracts including policies, resolutions, circular materials and various other agreements
• Reviewing and vetting various types of agreements, policies, marketing collaterals and a range of other documents
• Management of company secretarial matters and corporate governance work for our group of companies across different jurisdictions
• General research on legal groundwork involving laws of the different jurisdictions where the business is located, and offering legal solutions
• General legal & corporate advisory on a wide range of business matters including the potential risks and liabilities faced by the company
• Management of all executed documents, correspondences and corporate records involving the internal business function
• Collaborate and liaise with external parties from various jurisdictions (legal counsels, company secretaries, statutory bodies etc) and facilitate legal intermediary works in corporate transactions

Regional role with hybrid exposure across Legal and Corporate Governance | Remuneration negotiable depending on overall experience

• Minimum 2 years of corporate-legal practice experience (Compulsory)
• PLUS Minimum 2 years of legal in-house experience (Compulsory).
• Experience in Legal and Corporate Governance (or Compliance)
• Excellent strategic-critical thinking and legal reasoning skills.
• Excellent drafting, vetting and researching skills.
• Flexible to cover both legal compliance and corporate secretarial/regulatory aspects of an expanding business environment.
• Able to multi-task, manage competing priorities and possess problem-solving abilities

Our client is a fast-growing diversified services MNC group. Since incorporation, the group has grown significantly to more than 10 offices across the world (predominantly in Asia Pacific, Europe and Australia). With regional headquarters in Malaysia, the core advisory functions such as Legal and Corporate Governance serve as critical business partners, advising stakeholders operating in different jurisdictions. They are now looking for a dynamic professional (mainly legal background with hybrid exposure in both Legal and Compliance) to join the regional Legal and Corporate Governance team, in the office based in Kuala Lumpur.
