Job Summary Responsible for leading and conducting in-depth investigations on social media platforms, this role involves advanced digital footprint analysis overseeing online activity monitoring, and employing sophisticated open-source intelligence (OSINT) techniques to extract pertinent information. The senior social media investigator collaborates with law enforcement, legal teams, or other stakeholders, providing expert insights through well-documented and comprehensive reports. Also, to explore new tools and techniques to simplify and improve the investigation success rate to enhance the role\'s innovation and adaptability. Job Responsibilities 1) Strategic Digital Footprint Analysis Conduct a thorough analysis of individuals or entities on social media platforms, applying strategic insights to glean relevant information. 2) Advanced Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Utilize advanced OSINT techniques to collect and analyze publicly available information from diverse online sources. 3) Social Media Monitoring Leadership Oversee and guide the team in employing advanced tools for monitoring social media platforms, and identifying trends, keywords, and potential risks. 4) Evidence Collection and Management Lead the gathering and meticulous documentation of digital evidence, ensuring its relevance and admissibility in legal proceedings or investigations. 5) Comprehensive Report Generation Produced detailed, accurate and actionable reports, providing valuable insights for decision-making at a senior level. 6) Collaboration and Communication Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, law enforcement and external partners, conveying complex cybersecurity concepts. 7) Expert Witness Preparation Compile and organize evidence and insights to serve as an expert witness during court proceedings. Ensure that all investigative activities comply with legal and ethical standards. 8) Risk Assessment and Mitigation Evaluate risks associated with online activities. Propose strategies to mitigate threats. Maintain compliance with privacy laws and regulations. Job Requirement Minimum of Bachelor\'s Degree in Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Criminology or other related disciplines with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 from a reputable University/College. Minimum 4 to 9 years of working experience in a similar environment. Experience in Digital Forensics - Demonstrated proficiency in using advanced digital forensics tools and techniques for comprehensive data extraction and analysis. Mastery of OSINT Tools - Extensive familiarity with a broad spectrum of open-source intelligence tools for sophisticated data collection and analysis. Strategic Analytical Skills - Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills to interpret complex data, uncover patterns, and draw insightful conclusions. Effective Communication and Leadership - Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to provide leadership and guidance to a team. Legal Compliance and Cybersecurity Expertise - Deep knowledge of laws and regulations related to online investigations privacy and data protection. Understanding of cybersecurity principles. Familiar with social media platforms. Problem-solving skills and out-of-the-box thinking. Multi-task, work independently, and work under pressure with minimum supervision.
