We are offering opportunity for a Senior Manager (Regional Tax) to be part of our Group Taxation team based at our Head Office in Kuala Lumpur for a challenging and long term rewarding career. Reporting to the Deputy General Manager. The Senior Tax Manager\'s main responsibilities include managing all aspects of tax compliance of the overseas companies and tax planning support. This position also provides opportunities for exposure to regional tax and overseas travel to support our overseas companies\' tax matters. Job Responsibilities: Reviewing and managing regional tax compliance such as submission of monthly/ quarterly/ annual tax returns, tax estimates, withholding tax returns, value added tax (\'VAT\') and Transfer Pricing and etc. Managing income tax/ transfer pricing/ withholding tax/ VAT audits conducted by the tax authorities in the region. Handling and managing tax incentives applications. Providing effective tax planning suggestions to the regional business units/ operations. Keep abreast of the latest tax developments in the region and update the Management on the latest development and changes to tax regulations and analysing the implications. Work closely with overseas business units on tax compliance matters. Job Requirements: Professional qualifications (CTIM, MIA, MICPA, ACCA or equivalent) and/or Degree in Accounting/ Finance. Minimum 8 years working experience in a tax/ accounting firm or corporate tax department of major corporations. Good understanding of tax rules, regulations and practices. Team player with good communication skills (both written and spoken) and ability to work independently with colleagues across the regional business units Strong work ethics, integrity, good leadership skill and self-motivated.
