Primary Objective:

• Establish and drive the GRC / ORM system governance and ensure overall applicability and accessibility of the system, complete with a system administrator manual.
• Optimize the system capabilities on all operational risk modules (together with respective operational risk tool owners) to meet reporting requirements set by the bank and its regulators.
• Drive integration of relevant operational risk modules within the system to optimize completeness and dependability of the operational risk database.
• Key liaison person to provide support and manage accessibility of users into the GRC system.
• Provide advisory to all stakeholders on the optimum system and organizational structure to be implemented into the system.
• Manage system improvement / enhancement projects together with relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the SH, EVO System Support & Maintenance to:

• Provide support and guidance to users on matters related to the GRC system.
• Ensure the system\xe2\x80\x99s capabilities (production, UAT, DR, training and SIT) are optimal to support and manage operational risk management tools and reporting requirements.
• Ensure proper implementation of the ORM system connectivity to integrated/interfaced systems i.e. regulator and business (B2B) systems.
• Ensure system improvements / enhancements are performed properly and timely, via proper project management activities.
• Ensure that the system access security matrix is maintained appropriately to protect the system and the database from unauthorized access, modification, destruction or disclosures.
• Ensure updated user access is maintained in the ORM system, and periodic checks are performed to identify and remediate any discrepancies.
• Ensure that the system issues reported by the system users are escalated and rectified with IT Support and vendor promptly.
• Setup and maintain risk master data in system as overall custodian of data for ORM.
• Maintain System Administrator Manual and other relevant policies / guidelines.
• Conduct system training jointly with module owners to all users.
• Ensure Disaster Recovery (DR) system is updated and maintained optimally together with vendor and Group IT.

Requirements

Requirements:
A recognized Degree

Preferably a member of Institute of Operational Risk

Certification in Project Management will be an added advantage

Preferred level of Experience (by years/function/industry):

• Minimum of 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Operational Risk system management in an established financial services institution.
• Sound knowledge of risk management concepts, Operational Risk tools and methodologies.
• Good command in IT software application such as Excel (macros programming), and database application (an added advantage).
• Able to maintain ethical and professional standards and behaviors even in difficult situations by maintaining focused, composed and flexible persona in complex, ambiguous or stressful situations.
