Job Description


Responsibility:

  • Assist the Procurement Manager in executing procurement processes efficiently (PO, INV, DO, etc).
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Handle any other duties as assigned by the Procurement Manager.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company\'s goals and objectives.
  • Continuously improve procurement processes and practices to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements to secure the best possible deals.
  • Conduct supplier performance evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare, review, and manage contracts, ensuring they meet all legal and company requirements.
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure timely renewals or terminations as necessary.
  • Develop and manage procurement budgets and forecasts.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor procurement spend to ensure budget adherence.
  • Identify potential procurement risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and finance teams, to understand and meet their procurement needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior procurement staff.
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings.
  • Analyze market trends and data to inform procurement decisions and strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement; within the oil and gas industry is an added advantage.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of procurement best practices and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with local and international procurement regulations and standards.
