Job Description
The Purchasing Senior Executive shall be responsible for overall purchasing activity and to ensure effective implementation and operation of the Quality and Environment Management System in Purchasing Department.
- The department shall be responsible for overall purchasing activity and to ensure effective implementation and operation of the Quality and Environment Management System in Purchasing Department.
- Source for direct material (paper) for manufacturing use.
- Raise indent order with supplier which is listed in Approved Supplier List.
- Evaluate forecast plans and perform timely purchase of materials, services, and supplies to meet operational needs.
- Sourcing for supplier, analyze quotation, pricing negotiation, and purchasing function to ensure cost competitiveness.
- Manage the relationship with supplier.
- Maintain and monitor indent shipment delivery
- To evaluate vendor performance once a year.
- Identify training needs.
- To update department staff job description from time to time.
- Monitor and report on material consumption, and material wastage to various stake holders.
- Maintaining effectiveness of Quality Management System (QMS) and Environment System (EMS) implementation.
- To ensure housekeeping and safe work ethics practice by subordinate.
