Job Description


  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with numerous priorities, and exhibit strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across functions with minimal supervision, actively participating in the development and execution of both strategic and tactical plans.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans to support business objectives across multiple retail locations, ensuring they adhere to strategy, timelines, and budgets. Maintain and update thematic campaign and product marketing planners.
  • Drive foot traffic and sales through efficient local store marketing initiatives, encompassing print, digital, direct mail, social media, in-store events, and grassroots marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with other Retail departments (Sales, Merchandising, Vision Merchandising) to provide essential retail marketing support to key stores.
  • Manage product marketing, including planning and executing new product launches and crafting compelling communications for focus funds. These communications should be distributed through various marketing channels such as events, emails, client communications, collateral materials, digital platforms, and public relations.
  • Responsible for overseeing budgets for each retail location, ensuring cost-effective utilization of marketing resources.
  • Coordinate the production of all marketing materials from concept to delivery. Collaborate with creative teams to generate tailored content, including images, videos, and ad copy, while meeting established deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Brand Marketing to ensure the annual Visual Refreshment activities and digital marketing content align with brand guidelines and are scheduled on social media.
  • Forge close partnerships with shopping malls for mall-related activities, including managing mall social media, coordinating events, collaborating on loyalty programs, booking in-mall media, and identifying advertising opportunities.
  • Monitor competitors activities, market trends, and analyze market research data to adapt marketing plans and maintain a competitive edge by meeting consumer needs.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as store managers, regional managers, corporate marketing teams, advertising agencies, and third-party collaborators.
  • Work with store management and staff to ensure the flawless and timely execution of all marketing activities.
  • Visit retail locations and engage with managers to address service concerns, discuss sales programs, manage newspaper inventory, implement incentive programs, and explore placement opportunities.
  • Evaluate marketing campaigns by providing written analyses promptly and offering recommendations based on the results.
  • Maintain an updated library of grassroots marketing materials, including flyers, discount cards, and tear pads, revising them bi-annually.
  • Train and supervise a team of marketing coordinators responsible for executing marketing plans at the store level.
  • Undertake additional tasks assigned by management, marketing teams, sales teams, and retailers as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma/Bachelors Degree/Professional Degree in Marketing, or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years working experiences in retail of FMCG industry would be added advantage.
  • Understanding of the retail industry, including market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.
  • Proficiency in marketing strategies and tactics, including campaign planning and execution, product launches, branding, and promotions.
  • Experience in managing marketing budgets, allocating resources effectively, and achieving results within budget constraints.
  • Proficiency in project management to ensure marketing initiatives are executed on time and within scope.
  • Understanding of retail merchandising principles and how marketing efforts can support merchandising goals.
  • Familiarity with marketing software and tools, including customer relationship management (CRM) systems, analytics platforms, and marketing automation tools.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
