Job Description


The incumbent will be responsible in driving the company\'s growth through effective sales and marketing strategies. They are responsible for generating leads, nurturing client relationships and achieving sales targets within their assigned territory. Additionally, they will develop and execute marketing campaigns, contributing to brand awareness and lead generation, while ensuring the efforts align with the company\'s values.

  • Conduct sales and marketing activities in a designated territory, from lead generation to closure, to meet set targets and achieve sales objectives.
  • Plan and execute direct marketing initiatives as per directives provided by the Head of Department and within agreed-upon budgets.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and provide training to stakeholders.
  • Engage in effective business discussions with customers, business owners, and decision-makers.
  • Maximise opportunities throughout the sales process to successfully close deals.
  • Conduct market research, analyse data, monitor competitor\'s activities, and gather customer feedback through surveys.
  • Develop and qualify leads using various methods, including referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face cold calls, direct mail, email, and networking.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed deals, and follow-up actions, within the assigned territory.
  • Cultivate positive customer relationships, build rapport, and provide support to all customers.
  • Manage the back end of e-commerce marketing and address operational issues on online platforms.
  • Fulfil any additional duties and responsibilities as directed by superiors from time to time.

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Life sciences, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Nutrition or a related field accompanied by relevant experience in medical device.
  • An established candidate with more than 5 years of experience in medical device or medical consumables sales and marketing in healthcare clinics, pharmacy or a related field.
  • Outstanding ability in dealing with end users, distribution channels and network nationwide.
  • Strong business acumen and deep industry knowledge with proven track record of driving the sales process from planning to successful sales achievements.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively and convincingly at all levels of the organisation.
  • Willing to travel extensively including outstation territories, covering nationwide.
